We stayed here recently. The house is amazing. It’s huge. We came with a big group and felt that even we didn’t utilize everything there was available. If I came back, I would come back with more than 10 people. Kids loved it! There were several beds for them to pick from. Lots of stuffed animals and board games. Snow play gear is a plus too! There was more than enough to go around between the kids. I’ve been to a few airbnb’s with the no shoes rules so I was not sure what I would get but it turned out very well. The house was super clean! Clean carpets and floors are a huge plus! The floor in the kitchen and living room were cold so don't forget your socks! Erich is very reachable. He called me when I first got in and walked me through everything. It was a huge help since it would’ve taken longer to learn how to turn on and turn off everything properly. I love that each restrooms had scented handsoap and a variety of shower soaps. There was a different theme in each of the restrooms and bedrooms. Erich has a yellow binder in the kitchen. There are loads of useful information in it. I would suggest looking through it if you're unsure of what to do or eat.

This place was everything my family and I expected and then some. The home is big, clean and very welcoming. Erich made check in and check out so easy. I had the best experience with my family here. The town of Shaver Lake is only about a 5 minute drive away. We mostly ate at the cabin but were able to stop by “Hungry Hut” where we had the best burgers! We stopped by the lake and explored China Peak. Everything was just a few minutes away. The home had so many amenities from cooking oil to shampoo! Parking was easy, neighbors were friendly and the snow outside was so much fun for the kids. My large family and I really had the best time. We hope to be able to book this place again!

Before my trip began, Erich was very informative about everything related to the house as well as things to do in the area. When I first arrived, I was amazed! The house and rooms were way larger than I expected, per the online photos. The house was kept very clean, the amenities were above and beyond what I expected and everything was very organized and easy to find. I’m normally not one to write a review but all my friends and family were impressed by Erich and his home. 5 stars all around!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Erich’s place in Shaver Lake! Our group of friends love winter sports and this year we decided to explore Shaver Lake and China Peak resort. We came on a good weekend where it snowed fresh powder. Erich did a great job checking in with me prior to my arrival, and even during our stay to make sure everything was going well for us. As we were checking out, he asked if we had any questions and pointed us to the checklist for us to complete as we leave (I love when hosts are so organized!). The home itself is so spacious and so cozy. Trust me, you will definitely have room for everyone. The spaces were clean and tidy and I loved that there were snowshoes and sleds to play with. I would definitely book this place again if we ever return!

This home is very spacious and clean. Erich was a very attentive host and shared that he would be available to us throughout our stay, which he was. The house is in great condition and even offers nice touches such as coffee, sparkling cider, and popcorn. There’s plenty of activities such as games, sleds, ping pong, etc. for quality family time. I will definitely be booking this home again and highly recommend it!

This place is beautiful. Very personalized, it is a very family friendly cabin. You can tell Erich and his family have a lot of love for this place. The fireplace was amazing, we love the addition of the ping-pong table and all the boardgames. This is a perfect place for a family gathering.There is bunkbeds and three of the rooms which the kids loved. Its was very close to the basketball court and the tennis courts. We are definitely coming back and staying here again.

Our stay was superb. We had rented a cabin in the same complex previously and really enjoyed our stay. This time, we stayed at Erich's cabin and it was a really superb experience. the cabin was immaculately cared for. The personal touch including contact from him that our arrival went well and there were no issues was truly considerate. He set up the cabin with coffee and hot chocolate and other food items for making our stay more comfortable. There were extra toys like snowshoes, ping pong, video game counsel, and sleds to make our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, they had an awesome bar-b-que for grilling tri-tip and salmon. The bedrooms were comfortable...along with all the other furniture. They even had usb connections all over the house to make charging electronics convenient. Checkout was a breeze and the whole family had a great time. Thanks for the opportunity. We'll be back.

This cabin was definitely a home away from home. It was so well stocked with everything we could possibly need and very comfortable for our families. It was a great cabin to come back to after a fun day at China Peak. The snow was awesome...the cabin was awesome...we will for sure be coming back. Erich was there when we needed him and was great to work with. Thank you!

Convenient and comfortable house. The owner was responsive and helpful. The kitchen is super well stocked with appliances, spices, plenty of dishes, etc. At first I was disappointed how close the house is to other houses but was very quiet and private feeling once inside.

We had a wonderful experience in our first time visiting Shaver Lake. The house had all the accommodations we needed as a big family. Erich, the owner was very nice and welcoming, with a phone call upon our arrival to make sure everything was as expected. The house was very cozy, the kids had a lot of fun with all the board games and pin pong table. We were able to cook great since the kitchen is well equipped. We didn’t have to bring anything but the food. We’ll come back next year for sure!

Roomier than anticipated; had every utensil, appliance needed to host a holiday dinner; games and toys for children for summer and winter activities. The cabin was spaced farther away from the neighboring cabins compared to other neighboring cabins which were much closer to each other.
